17 January 2015 - 10:00am - 4:00pm
24 January 2015 - 10:00am - 4:00pm
31 January 2015 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Do come and join us.

There will be the opportunity for carrying out maintenance at the Club on the following weekends between 10.00am and 4.00pm:

  • Saturday 10th January
  • Saturday 17th January
  • Saturday 24th January
  • Saturday 31st January

There will be no Galley service with the exception of the 31st January when Debs & Sandra will be in to do their stuff.
Lunches and drinks should ideally need to be brought in, though I am planning on bringing materials for making coffees and teas throughout the days.
Hopefully the mugs are there as they should be. Hot water should be available of course for making cup a soups etc.

Basic gardening tools would be worth bringing such as spades and shovels, barrows and brushes and maybe some shears or secateurs if persons have these items. The club is a bit thin on the ground in this department.
Ideas are welcome of course for items that need to be done as well.
Someone is coming in to have a good go at the trees on January 14th/15th, but that will be the more heavy stuff such as thinning out the dinghy park near the boat garage.
We haven't got the materials to paint the inside yet, though most of the interior touching up is being done by the midweek crew.
The training room floor needs sanding and all the tables and chairs need putting into the clubroom; so theres quite a bit to do there as the room needs to be completely empty. We could perhaps do this tomorrow if the weather is bad.
Also all the tables and chairs in the club room need to be checked and screws tightened.
If anyone has a really good floor sander they can lend to us or even come and use it then that would be useful as I was going to hire one from HSS and claim the expenses back.
Hope that provides some useful info. It will be a bit suck and see and just do what we feel needs doing. Hoping to get rid of the old wooden boat at the entrance on the 10th and I hope the skip has arrived!

You will be most welcome to join us. Should you need any additional information do not hesitate to contact me.
