Sailing Club Ramble for Children in Need - October 10th

Sailing Club Ramble for Children in Need - October 10th

On 10th October we are organizing a Club Ramble in support of the BBC's "Ramble for Children in Need" initiative.
John Blake has kindly agreed to lead the group.
Anyone wishing to come along should meet in the clubhouse at 10.00am.

From there the plan is as follows:

  • Shared transport to Carsington village
  • The walk will take us over Carsington Fields past Kings Chair, Old Knoll and past the wind turbines, then a short distance along the High Peak Trail up to the trig point on Harboro Rocks. We then find Arthur's seat for pictures and the best view of Carsington Water before returning to Carsington Village via Brassington and the disused mines.

It is recommended you bring boots or stout trainers, a drink, snack (a chocolate biscuit or 3!), camera and a waterproof.

Any donations for Children in Need will be gratefully received.

Everyone welcome, members families and friends. The more the merrier!

Hope to see many of you on 10th
