The course is run by an RYA recognised instructor and provides a minimum of 8 hours tuition to cover the new First Aid protocols.

It is suitable for Instructors, Safety Boat Drivers or Yachtmasters where your current certificate is nearly, or out out of date.

It is also available for members where they may simply wish to take a first aid course appropriate for sailing

All successful candidates will receive a RYA First Aid Certificate, valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
The training is usually spread over 2 consecutive Wednesday,Thursday or Friday evenings, from 18:45 until 21:45.
Some set work is then undertaken during the intervening week.
If a particular evening is preferred then please mention when booking.

Occasionally courses are run over a single day, usually a Saturday.

Non-Members are also welcome to take up any spare places.

Course fees:

• £15.00 - Members.
• £60.00 - Non-Members.

A first aid manual is available for £10 if required.
