Sailing Club Update

As I write this we are expecting another weekend of wild weather, the third in a row, not the start to the season we'd hoped for.

Despite this, 254 of you have renewed your membership, hopefully the rest will do so soon.

The reservoir is full, the one plus side to the wet weather, and we are all geared up to start sailing.

We have a full program of Club Racing, and Open Events, and a 2-day Commodore's Cup event on the 18th and 19th July.
We plan 3 races each day, 4 to count so you'll need to sail both days to qualify, there'll be an evening social on Saturday, with a BBQ and music.
There'll be a cover over the terrace in case its not sunny, hopefully it will be.
Campervans will be allowed, book with Ceri. We hope to enjoy a full weekend in high summer.
Cost etc. to follow once I've managed to firm up the program.

You'll have noticed the new upgrades to the club room.
We also plan to add a pump to further improve the showers.
Members have been hard at work on the clubroom, and fitting a roof to Committee Boat 2, to make it a more pleasant place on the water.

Heres looking forward to fair winds in 2020.
