Carsington Water Level Report, 12 November 2018
Published 20:40 on 29 Nov 2018
Summary: Retained volume has fallen to 65% (194mAOD) the lowest level since 2011. The North slipway is now unusable by fixed-keel boats. Water levels are still falling but at a much slower rate than recent weeks. Because the weather has changed it is now unlikely that levels will fall below 60%. Assuming that pumping starts promptly, when river levels rise, and everything works properly then Carsington could easily be filled by Easter. Carsington is at its lowest level since 2011.
