Cruiser Series - begins Saturday 1st February with starts at 1100, 1315 and B2B.
Dinghy Series - begins Sunday 2nd February. The format for this series will be 3 races B2B with Race 1 starting at 1100, Race 2 not before 1145 and Race 3 not before 1230.
The Frostbite Series runs over 8 weekends, ending on the weekend of 21st / 22nd March. The planned number of races is 24, with 9 to count.
Note that for the Dinghy Series it is a Mixed Handicap fleet.
Also for the dinghy racers on Sunday, if you want a dinner after racing please make sure you book this with The Galley before going on the water.

Spring Series
The Spring Series for Cruisers and Dinghies starts on the weekend of 28th / 29th March.
For the Sunday Dinghy Spring Series we will return to the format of two B2B races in the morning, with Race 1 starting at 1030, Race 2 not before 1115. The afternoon will be two B2B races, first start at 1330. This format will continue for the Summer Series 1 & 2 and the Autumn Series.

Duty Roster
The Duty Roster system is now open for the 2020 season and volunteers for RO, safety etc are required for the Frostbite Series.

Course Marks
A new moveable windward mark will be available for use this season. This should give Race Officers the opportunity to set a more accurate beat if the wind direction is such that the fixed marks are not suitable. The new mark is a dan buoy with an orange "W" flag and "W" course boards are also available. If you are a Race Officer please be aware of this option - if you are racing watch out for it on the displayed course board !
Thank you to Jack and Judy Hayhurst for making the flag and course boards.
The offset mark should still be used in conjunction with the "W" windward mark. The SIs have been amended to include the new "W" mark and will be displayed on the website & noticeboard before the start of the season.
Please note that the Outer Distance Mark and the new "W" mark are to be left on the Committee Boat after racing, no requirement to put them away on shore.

Open Meetings
There is a busy calendar of Open Meetings throughout 2020 with the K1s and Solos getting it started over the weekend of 4th & 5th April. The Solo Open Meeting is just one day (Saturday 4th April), whilst the K1s race on both days.

Best Wishes and Good Sailing in the new season
