Experienced sailors, or those with RYA level 2 can choose to take a catamaran conversion course. This training can result in an RYA Catamaran certificate, which is handy for proving competence should you wish to hire a catamaran on holiday.
This is a two day course where you will be taught how to helm, crew and trapeze in a safe and controlled manner.
Having two hulls we cover the different techniques used to tack, gybe, launch recover and the mandatory capsize and recovery.
If required we can provide trapeze harnesses, but recommend you bring your own sailing gloves.
