An online training course created by the RYA covering - Basics of radio operation, frequencies, distress, emergency and medical assistance procedures, making ship to shore telephone calls, Digital Selective Calling, Global Maritime Distress Safety System. Following completion of the course, an examination is required consisting of both a practical assessment and a theory paper.

A comprehensive online training program supported by an SRC assessor. You will learn about both practical and theoretical elements through the use of the online simulator, and challenged with multiple scenarios to digest and manage. | When ready, you will need to sit an SRC exam to complete your course.
