Women on the Water
In 2026 we will be launching our Women on the Water Program!
On the last Saturday every month we will be holding our Women on the water sessions.
Fancy gaining your confidence out on the water, with a patient, like-minded and understanding female instructor? Want to make some friends with other women who want to get back into/start their sailing career?
To join WoW, you must be able to helm a dinghy independently. WoW is intended for women who have completed RYA Level 2 training or who can sail confidently to an equivalent standard. We strive to be inclusive and warmly welcome female sailors with additional needs. Please contact us to discuss how we can best accommodate your requirements.
Our vision is to foster an inclusive, supportive, and skill-building community where women with a foundation in sailing come together to enjoy the water, grow in confidence, and celebrate each others progress. In a relaxed and friendly setting, we create space for members to expand their abilities—whether that means taking the helm, sharpening crewing techniques, or mastering rigging.
Through a blend of instructor-led sessions and peer-to-peer learning, we encourage teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support that make each outing more than just time on the water. Every woman has the opportunity to learn at her own pace, try new things, and feel confident knowing she belongs in this community. Together, were committed to making sailing a positive experience where skills improve, confidence flourishes, and friendships grow.
Joining the group is a wonderful way to get out on the water with like-minded people while also receiving instruction and guidance as needed. Its an experience that supports members at every level—helping each sailor build ability, gain confidence, and enjoy the journey.
2026 dates to be released soon!
