CHRISTMAS CRACKER SUNDAY 15th December
It's almost the end of the 2019 season, but before we finish don't forget the Christmas Cracker and Prizegiving on Sunday 15th December. There will be one Mixed Handicap race starting at 11:00hrs. After racing there will be Prizegiving in the club lounge. If anyone wants to have a dinner after the race it will be necessary to book it with the Galley before the day; to avoid disappointment book early, on the day will be too late
BOXING DAY PURSUIT RACE
For those of you brave enough (or sober enough!), the final race of the season is the Boxing Day Pursuit Race. The first start will be at 12:00hrs for any Toppers racing. See the list on the notice board in the foyer for the rest of the start times. These times are published with the Club racing documents.
LAYING UP FOR WINTER
All boat owners (cruisers and dinghies) are reminded to ensure their boats are packed away and securely fastened down ready for Winter to avoid damage to their own boats but also boats parked next to them.
SAILING COMMITTEE VACANCIES
There are a couple of vacancies on the sailing committee - a fleet captain for the Medium Fleet and one for the Asymmetric Fleet. Anyone interested in joining the Sailing Committee in either of these two roles will need to complete a Fleet Captain Nomination Form, be proposed by a member of that fleet and seconded by at least 2 other members of that fleet. The closing date for entries is 29th February 2020. The Fleet Captain Nomination Form can be found on the website - sign in to the Portal -> Sailing Committee Documents -> Fleet Captain Nomination Form. Alternatively please contact the Sailing Secretary who can send a form to you.
Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year
