NOVEMBER 2026 Water Level Report

On 26 Oct the Water Level was 60.9%, a slight rise on the previous week, but much higher than previous drought years. This is normally the point in the year when water levels stabilise prior to the start of pumping but the Water Situation Report for the Midlands is saying that the Midlands is in drought and we require very substantial rainfall to restore river levels and refill our reservoirs. Despite that we don’t know when pumping will commence water levels will be high enough to allow dinghy and safety ribs to launch from the North Slip and the Dick Dalton Causeway until the end of the year.
