Derbyshire Youth Sailing Open Meeting

There were 6 Carsington boats taking part :-
- 13th overall - Alisdair Cresswell, Laser Radial
- 15th overall - Ben Cooper, Topper
- 16th overall and 2nd Junior - Daniel Bird, Topper
- 17th overall and 3rd Junior - James Cooper, Topper
- 20th overall - Rory Cresswell, Topper
- 23rd overall - Willem Butler Lee and Ben Ash, RS Vision.
Well done to all for mastering the race courses in tricky conditions in a big fleet.
Also a big thank you to Joe Scurrah for doing Race Officer and Silvio Murgia for organising the event.
RYA Midlands Junior Championships
There's more youth racing coming up when Carsington hosts the Midlands event for the RYA Junior Championships over the weekend of 25th / 26th September. This will be a big event so unfortunately no club racing but should be a great spectacle.
